This event provides immigrants like you the opportunity to learn about volunteerism in Canada and shows you how to get involved in your community. The new Halifax Seaport Farmers’ Market opened in September of 2010. To complement the traditional market days, we have developed an International Market Day, which takes place every Friday. The Friday Market provides an opportunity for individuals to develop and sell products from their culture and country of origin.
