The Job Search Strategies Workshop offers the opportunity to learn and develop your job search tools and interview skills.
In this workshop you learn about occupational requirements, methods of job search, resources for finding advertised jobs and potential employers, resumes, cover letters, marketing yourself, what to expect at an interview, what kinds of questions may be asked, and other topics. You have the opportunity to develop your job search skills and practice answering possible interview questions. You also learn about the Canadian workplace culture, employer expectations and your rights and responsibilities.
Participating in an effective job search and interview preparation process are essential steps on your road to employment.

Working in Canada (Online – Self-directed Study)
This self-study workshop introduces you to Canadian work place culture, employer expectations, and your rights and responsibilities in the workplace.
Workplace Integration in Canada (Online – Self-directed Study)
This course gives you basic information about Canadian workplace culture that you may never get anywhere else. It explains the most common employer expectations, which are often unwritten and unspoken. All the advice and information comes from the real life experiences of newcomers to Canada.
