These pre-employment workshops can be taken on-site at ISIS or online, and will help you learn how to look for work in Canada and how to be successful “on-the-job”!
Pre-Employment Workshops include:
- Job Search – this workshop covers targeting your resume, applying for advertised jobs, discovering the hidden job market, the importance of networking and other important topics.
- Interview Skills – in this workshop, you’ll learn what to expect in a Canadian job interview and how to prepare. You’ll also have the opportunity to practice your skills!
- Working in Canada – this workshop introduces you to the Canadian workplace culture, employer expectations, and your rights, responsibilities and protections.

Job Search for Engineers – this workshop covers all of the above pre-employment workshops component with specific focus on engineering and related occupations.
Employment Series- this workshop is facilitated with the support of interpreters, and it is tailored to client with literacy to level 4.
