Computer Skills Training
ISIS offers computer classes for immigrants with little or no computer skills who want to learn basic computer skills. We also offer classes for immigrants who already have basic skills and would like to learn advanced computer skills.
Basic Computer Skills
These classes are in the Megabyte Computer Lab. In these classes, you can learn the basics of:

Advanced Computer Skills
These classes take place in the Gigabyte Computer Lab and are for immigrants with good language skills who already have basic computer knowledge. In these classes, you can learn:
- Microsoft Office Productivity (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

AutoCAD
April 16 -27 , 2012

In this class you will develop skills and knowledge to prepare you for working in the AutoCAD environment.
MS Excel Level 1

In this class you will learn how to create, open, save, print, edit and close worksheets as well as workbooks, enter and format data, use formulas and functions, and how to
create charts.
MS Powerpoint Level 1
January 17 – 31, 2012

This class will teach you how to open, save, print, edit and close presentation slides using MS PowerPoint 2007.
Keyboarding, Internet, and Email
January 17 – 20, 2012

This class will teach you typing skills, internet searching and emailing.
MS Word Level 1

This class will teach you how to open, save, print, edit and close documents such as resumes, cover letters, reports and homework’s. Also learn how to perform other formatting such as inserting dates, pictures, page numbers, tabs, tables, etc.
Intro to Computers

This program covers computer literacy and Microsoft Windows.
Simply Accounting
March 19 – 29, 2012

This class teaches Simply Accounting, a professional software that allows businesses of all sizes to efficiently manage their accounts. Some versions of Simply Accounting are designed for small businesses and are relatively quick to set up and easy to use.

This class will teach you how to: merge mail, work with labels and envelopes, work with tables, insert pictures, charts, graphics, insert hyperlinks, and bookmarks, create a table of contents.
Design for Non-Designers

This class will teach you how to create small posters, flyers, and brochures. If you can use MS Office and would like to learn how to design with an “edge”, this hands-on workshop is for you!
MS PowerPoint Level 2
March 5 – 9, 2012

This class will teach you how to: work with speaker notes, add headers and footers, print presentations and handouts, layer objects, add entrance and exit animation, use motion paths, re-order animations effects.
MS Excel Level 2
February 6 – 16, 2012

9am-12pm
This class will teach you how to: create drop-down lists and pivot table reports, use advanced formulas, filter by using advanced criteria, conditional formatting, insert subtotals and totals in a list of data (grouping cells), and work with dates in Excel.
