International Graduates and Temporary Foreign Workers invited to participate in ISIS programs

Through a special project of the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration, all International Graduates and some Temporary Foreign Workers are welcome to participate in the following ISIS programs:
- English for Work (except Work Start)
- Online Learning
- Computer Skills:
- Design for Non-Designers (using Ms Office Publisher)
- Pre-employment Workshops
- Practice Interview Program
- Work Placement Program
- Mentor Program
International Graduates taking language skills development programs will have a Canadian Language Benchmarks assessment before they begin the program.
Temporary Foreign Workers may participate if they intend to become permanent residents (PR) in Nova Scotia AND are in one of the following groups:
- employed in occupation that falls under NOC code of O, A, B
- employed in occupation that falls under NOC code C, and have a minimum of grade 12 or equivalent of 13 years of education
- spouse of the TFW, with an open work permit (primary applicant has to be in occupation that falls under NOC code O,A,B)
- Temporary Foreign Workers and their spouses who provide a letter from the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration indicating that their English skills would limit their potential for a successful response to their application to become a Provincial Nominee
