International Networking Reception & Showcase

Thursday evening the World Trade and Convention Centre was buzzing with the conversations of local business owners and entrepreneurs as Global Entrepreneurship Week came to a close. The annual event celebrated the efforts of immigrant entrepreneurs and their contributions to the local business community. The showcase included 13 tabletop exhibits by immigrants – and featured a wide variety of businesses, including acupuncture and holistic therapy, local artisans, international trade, real estate, and African dance. It was a great networking opportunity for both immigrant and local business people, and we would like to thank everyone who came out and made the night a huge success!
